SUMMARY
Assist in coordinating the daily activities in the warehouse with checking in drivers, handling driver paperwork, verifying sales orders have appropriate paperwork for shipping and the receiving, coordinating of the inbound material by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Unpacks and inspects all incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, records shortages and works with appropriate department on damages or discrepancies.
Signs Delivery receipts from carriers, accordingly, noting any damages or discrepancies to allow for freight claims to be filed.
Receive Pos in NetSuite same day as delivery, working with Purchasing on PO Information, damages, shortages, etc.
Coordinates inspections with QA of incoming material.
Coordinates the shipping of floor sweeps with Warehouse, Purchasing and Traffic when trailer is full and ready to be shipped in a timely manner.
Communicates via Teams, Email or Phone in a timely manner.
Maintains Delinquency Report daily with appropriate actions being taken.
Assists Traffic Department with Warehouse questions on paperwork, unpicking and picking orders. Working knowledge of the WMS system for picking and unpicking orders.
Confirm orders in the ERP system as orders ship, completing all associated paperwork, filing, etc.in a timely manner.
Scanning of all Outbound and Inbound paperwork including dropping paperwork into Item Fulfillments both truckload and LTL, Delivery Receipts into Item Receipts of the PO.
Reviewing paperwork of the built truckload and LTL orders to ensure paperwork is filled out correctly, associated documents such as bills of ladings, export papers are present, and orders stamped return to traffic have been given to traffic.
Correcting any behind the scenes ASN failures on dealership orders.
Check in Drivers and handles associated paperwork.
Communication between truck drivers and Leads, or Supervisor, for shipments.
Create Shipping and other customer required labels for building sales orders.
Coordinates Warehouse Requests, communicate progress and completion of the Warehouse Requests in a timely manner back to sender.
Reads customer order, work order, or shipping order, to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed verifying if quantities are correct.
Coordinates materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Coordinates transfer of components to various vendors including Northwoods and P3, entering the transfer orders needed in a timely manner.
Communicate unresolved issues identified to the department supervisor.
Operates a lift truck to move materials.
Maintains, cleans, and organizes the entire work and Receiving area.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Backup Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
Attend shift and department meetings.
Performs all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent; and two to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Intermediate computer skills.
Must possess, or successfully complete, an in-house fork truck operation course and obtain a license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Proficiency in English is required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, packaging and shipping instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees, vendors, drivers and other outside contacts.
