POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Process Control Engineer supports manufacturing in troubleshooting, long-range planning, day-to-day operations, process control optimization and continuous improvements.
Accountabilities
- Provide technical support to the Manufacturing Department to optimize performance, increase production efficiency, improve quality, and increase equipment reliability.
- Lead E&I technicians to utilize industry standards in troubleshooting, process improvement and training / certification programs.
- Write and troubleshoot ladder logic programming.
- Create and use processes for analysis of production and maintenance data to identify problems with processes, equipment, tooling, and personnel. Use technical skills and formal methods to identify root causes and implement solutions, including design changes.
- Coordinate communications and efforts with internal and external resources to troubleshoot equipment and to execute repairs, PM's, and upgrades to equipment and tooling. Participate in planning meetings with Maintenance.
- Support efforts of Continuous Improvement group to develop departmental procedures and training programs. Develop specific technical procedures when necessary. Participate in Continuous Improvement efforts and teams.
