Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage shift operations, including scheduling staff and assigning tasks to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant policies.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance.
- Address any issues or complaints from staff or customers promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or catering environment.
