What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Data Reporting Analyst position at Krypital Group?
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analytics including variance analysis around the information disclosed in the internal and external reports/disclosures.
- Responsible for the preparation of the annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP and international accounting standards for the Company’s legal entities.
- Support management by leading and completing projects impacting financial reporting.
- Daily trade processing and reconciliation of cash balances
- Daily/Monthly reconciliation of investment positions and market values
- Confirming the validity of corporate actions and significant price changes
- Review of accruals and expense items
- Calculation and recording management fees and incentive fees
- Preparation of investor allocation
- Confirming investor capital statement
- Preparation of the fund's financial statements
- Work with CFO to maintain Company’s control framework, process narratives, and flowcharts.
- Responsible for the preparation of the Company’s monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong accounting background with a solid knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong knowledge of financial products (i.e., equities, futures, fixed income)
- 2-3-year industry experience with financial services hedge/venture funds
- Understanding of securities valuation, settlement properties and attributes
- Understanding of the hedge/venture funds under administration (legal structure, investment objective, fee structure, liquidity provisions, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous and impeccable keen attention to detail
- High level of enthusiasm and curiosity to grow your career in a multifaceted and growing company
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, coordinate the efforts of others and work well with people at a wide range of levels
- Ability to work under pressure
- Crypto Currency fund Experiences preferable
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
