Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Performs industrial tank cleaning, utility work, facility shutdowns, emergency response, and site remediation.
- Ability to be on call for emergency response and rotating schedules
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
- Participate in crew safety tailgate meetings
- Understand the hazards involving hydro-excavation and hydro-cleaning
- Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement required, Hazmat prefered
- Previous experience operating Industrial Services Equipment such as Vacuum and Roll off Trucks;
- Ability to use a mobile Tablets and smart phones;
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions!
Working Conditions: The locations vary from site to site however, the majority of the work is construction based working in the fields. The walking and working surfaces vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes, to hillsides and mountainsides. Walking and working on various terrains and in various soil conditions from hard dirt or rocky surfaces to frozen, snowy, wet, and slippery conditions. Most of the work will be subjected to the ambient weather and outdoor conditions. Some equipment may be equipped with an enclosed cab that has air conditioning and heating systems. Some are equipped with open cabs. Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: Employee will be working with various tools and equipment used in the oil and gas energy sector including; pipe and hand wrenches, hammers, shovels, and gas monitors.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
All candidates must pass a pre employment physical examination, drug / alcohol screen, hold a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check and be insurable through KSI's insurance carrier, criminal background check and E-verify as a condition of successful consideration for employment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Depending on the phase of the job, all personnel are required to work in conditions where physical demands can consist of placing one's body in various positions to inspect and to accomplish certain tasks such as:
· Sitting
· Standing
· Squatting
· Raising and Lowering objects from one level to another
· Carrying objects, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder. Grasping objects with the use of fingers, palm and wrists to hold/and or manipulate objects (hammers, saws, pencils, pens etc,). Pulling i.e. Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force (includes jerking)
Pushing i.e. Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force (includes slapping, striking, kicking and treadle actions). Bending at the waist, stooping, working in a supine position, twisting seated or standing. Some of these physical requirements will range from seldom, frequent to constant depending on the task.
