Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Manager to join our team. The Purchasing Manager will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring that we meet our operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and purchasing goods and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality service and competitive pricing.
- Oversee inventory management and control processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Utilize SAP or similar software for tracking purchases, managing inventory, and analyzing procurement data.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide support in sourcing materials.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements for the company.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and vendor performance for management review.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management practices and inventory control systems.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar procurement software is required.
- Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated experience in achieving favorable outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and supplier capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while managing multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $79,327.00 - $83,238.00 per year
