About the Job:
We are seeking an to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on semi-trucks such as Volvo, Peterbilt, Kenworth, and Freightliner Cascadia, equipped with DD13, DD15, Cummins ISX, and Volvo D12/D13 engines. This position requires a mechanic who can diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on diesel engines, including electrical, mechanical, and fuel systems.
- Identify and repair electrical issues, including tracing and fixing wiring problems.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Repair or replace worn-out parts, including brakes, suspension components, belts, and hoses.
- Work on transmissions, differentials, clutches, and exhaust systems.
- Conduct fuel system repairs, including injectors, fuel pumps, and turbochargers.
- Perform DPF and DEF system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and repair air and hydraulic brake systems.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks with the engines listed above.
- Ability to diagnose check engine lights and fault codes using diagnostic software.
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems, including the ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with engine overhauls, component rebuilding, and performance tuning is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have own basic tools (specialty tools will be provided).
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $21.00 - $41.10 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
