Mission Critical ERP Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business needs and processes to align the ERP system with them.
- Develop and customize the ERP software to improve its performance and integrate with business systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs.
- Provide technical support and training to users.
- Manage ERP security and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in ERP development.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for future reference.
- Collaborate with clients and/or internal teams to understand user needs; drafts initial proposal and design of software to meet these needs.
- Assess feasibility of design and project parameters within time and cost constraints.
- Analyze user needs and designs software for client use.
- Develops code and designs software applications based on user specifications.
- Modifies existing software to correct errors or improve performance.
- Monitors and assists with software testing and validation procedures and programming.
- Monitors and assists with software installation; ensures application operates within established specifications.
- Gathers and evaluates user feedback and then modifies software for better usability.
- Designs databases for specific application areas.
- Determines required system performance standards and hardware configurations based on client specifications, budget, security needs, and other parameters.
- Collaborates with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems to support required applications.
- Advises clients on software maintenance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an ERP developer or a role in ERP implementation.
- Ability to learn new coding languages and technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of at least one ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc).
- Experience in software development and programming languages such as Java or .NET.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, and experience with data migration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of coding languages and systems.
- Proficient with MS Office suite or related software.
- US Person required for DoD work.
- Onsite position.
