Foundry Employee Level 1 – Heat Treat
Reports To: Foundry Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wear all PPE required
- Follow all GIW Safety Guidelines
- Keep area neat, clean and safe
- Able to understand and document daily inspection forms for cranes, forklifts
- Operate over head and jib cranes safely and proficiently
- Operate swing grinders
- Learn to load and unload ovens
- Operate shot blast machine
- Follow all instructions directed by team leads and supervisors
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently:
- Standing, walking, sitting, bending, squatting, stooping
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling <75 lbs.
- Occasionally:
- Overhead work
- Climbing ladders or stairs
- Driving forklifts
- Operating cranes
