Key Accountabilities
- Service, maintain and grow our Mining customer base in Sub Sahara Africa, Middle East and Africa.
- Meet and exceed regional and personal targets
- Product awareness training and Marketing of KSB products into the various market sectors with a special focus on GIW specialized slurry pumping mining products for mining customers.
- Confirm existing and new customer visits, presenting KSB/GIW specialized pumping products and our manufacturing capabilities, assisting the client with onsite upgrading and troubleshooting of complex slurry pumping systems.
- Continuous training and support to KSB staff, KSB dealers, Mining clients, utilizing KSB specialized slurry pump selection software programs-SPAIX, GIW Slysel, Easy Select pump calculations.
- Control, manage and grow the sales of KSB/GIW specialized products introducing new products and pump trials, materials and aftermarket pump spares sales including site audits to establish our installed base footprint
- Grow KSB/GIW specialized product sales and KSB market shares within appointed KSB Dealers in the region, regularly visiting and providing strong technical sales support and training, quantifying relevant targets (sales and stocking). Introductions to clients and continued support thereafter.
- Market feedback on competitor activities and strategies in order to implement stronger business strategies to gain market share.
- Ensure that the KSB C4C is kept up to date at all times with accurate Mining customer information, customer contacts, construction objects, Mining project and tender information and accurate follow up.
- Liaise with KSB representatives and other KSB departments to improve customer satisfaction and service levels.
- Liaise with KSB representatives and Project Engineers and Key Account Managers on new, upcoming Mining projects and key accounts.
- Prepare, produce and issue high level technical reports, documents and briefing papers according to set deadlines.
- Adhere to Health and Safety legislation upholding KSB Pumps and Valves (Pty) Ltd Health and Safety Policy
- Comply with and ensure KSB Policies and Procedures are adhered to.
- Update work instructions as and when required.
