Key Responsibilities
- Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, gaining deep insight into their unique needs and challenges.
- Deliver technical sales presentations, proposals, and training to demonstrate the value of customized solutions.
- New Business Development
- Identify and convert new opportunities into long-term accounts through in-person engagement.
- Cross-sell products and services across multiple companies, creating comprehensive value for customers.
- Partner with distributor networks to expand market reach and achieve growth objectives.
- Operational Excellence
- Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage accounts, and provide accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and quality teams to ensure alignment with customer goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine and execute effective sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing, tooling, or related sales roles.
- Proven track record in cross-selling and cultivating long-term customer relationships.
- Technical understanding of manufacturing processes such as die casting, machining, and resin compounding.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including regional and occasional international trips.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with distributor networks and multi-site accounts.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms for sales tracking and performance analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills to assess customer needs and deliver innovative solutions.
