Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Member to join our team at KSL Resorts.
Responsibilities:
- Receive daily work assignments from the Director of Engineering and review priorities and special projects.
- Organize materials, tools, and equipment to perform daily assignments.
- Maintain timelines and work schedules in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
- Check work orders and maintenance reports for any problems.
- Make rounds checking these problem areas; note any touch-up needs or safety concerns in the hotel.
- Maintain proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Handle chemicals according to hotel requirements (OSHA).
- Ensure security of assigned keys and beeper.
- Complete room preventative maintenance for assigned guest rooms.
- Respond to guest maintenance and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving and review status of assignments and any follow-up actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance, facilities, or engineering.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Able to speak and understand primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill painting and engineering tasks.
Work Hours:
- Flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
- Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
Key Skills:
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, lift, or carry supplies, equipment, or tools weighing up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Carries out supervisor requests in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
- Follows 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
- Follows all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations.
- Follows safety and security procedures.
- Works cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
- Adheres to attendance and reliability standards.
