Duties (Brief description of the principal task involved):

The holder of the position is responsible for supporting the department to ensure that deliveries are properly received and distributed to designated departments.  Supports the preparation of outbound freight and supplies

Description of activities   (List of all Key tasks/processes actually carried out)

• Unloads incoming trucks containing materials, equipment and supplies for the facility.
• Help prepare items for shipping and transport materials for proper disposition.
• Insures timeliness of product delivery and the quality of the product delivered to appropriate destinations. 
• Is responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in work area. 
• Support the department by implementing corrective action plans as needed to address delivery issues.
• Handles equipment, tools and materials in a safe and cost-conscious manner. 
• Responds to and communicates changes in delivery schedules to appropriate personnel, and identify solution to prevent negative impacts on production performance. 
• Maintains on going communications and participated in departmental meetings. 
• Perform other duties as assigned 
• Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his/her department, and   supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement and communication.
