Responsibilities: 

• Perform a variety of accounting services utilizing clients' records.
• Reconciles bank accounts and traces discrepancies.
• Perform customer invoicing and perform cash applications.
• Enter and process vendor bills received for payment along with vendor management, including W-9 administration and identifying 1099 vendors.
• Downloading and coding of credit card transactions.
• Reconcile subsidiary accounts to the general ledger.
• Record transactions accurately and timely to subsidiary journals and post to general ledger.
• Prepare and process payroll and payroll tax returns, including new hire set-up and related communication and recording payroll in the accounting system.
• Update schedules for property and equipment and calculate depreciation and amortization.
• Identify and escalate any tasks or client requests encountered that are not identified on the client work instructions to the Director or Manager working on the account.
• Completion of assigned jobs within the targeted budget.
• On time delivery with regards to internal and external deadlines.
• Run custom financial reports on a regular basis at request of internal or external customers.
• Become familiar with the firm's and the Outsourced Finance and Accounting Services (OFAS) practice’s policies and procedures. 
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications: 

• Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt easily to unexpected situations as they arise.
• Adapts easily to learning new software applications and demonstrates proficiency with core applications.
• Prefer at least two years of accounting services experience related to financial statement reconciliations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end financial statements/general ledger through trial balance.
• Knowledge and experience with various software packages possessing the ability to easily learn new software applications. Position will work primarily with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Bill.com, a variety of payroll providers, and Microsoft Office applications including Teams.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask with ease and professionalism across a variety of industries in a fast-paced environment.
• Client-centric approach to all matters.
• Team player approach to allow for cross functional assignments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills via telephone, video, and email.
• Works with confidential client matters, requires ability to maintain confidentiality.
