Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and execute technology initiatives across the firm using Hybrid Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering exceptional outcomes. You will collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to create value-driven solutions for both internal teams and our clients, including coaching up to 25 team members in Agile best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Oversee end-to-end project life cycles (initiation, planning, execution, closure) using Hybrid Agile frameworks.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Agile Team Leadership
- Coach teams on Agile best practices, promoting continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide clear guidance and support to team members, ensuring effective communication and delivery.
- Jira Administration
- Administer and optimize Jira to support project tracking, reporting, and workflow management.
- Collaborate with teams to customize Jira boards, workflows, and dashboards for maximum efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate effectively across IT and business units, ensuring alignment on project goals and progress.
- Manage up to 25 cross-functional team members, driving accountability and collaboration.
- Risk & Issue Resolution
- Identify, track, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout project life cycles.
- Establish contingency plans and escalate critical challenges when necessary.
- Stakeholder Management
- Regularly update senior leadership and other stakeholders on project status, budgets, and milestones.
- Manage expectations and dependencies, ensuring seamless delivery of project objectives.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive post-project reviews and retrospectives, leveraging insights to optimize future project approaches.
- Champion best practices in Hybrid Agile, helping the organization grow and innovate.
Qualifications:
- Experience
- 5 years of experience managing IT projects, with a focus on Agile or Hybrid Agile frameworks.
- Proven track record in administering and building out Jira for diverse project needs.
- Solid grasp of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management techniques (Waterfall).
- Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to guide cross-functional teams and balance multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- Certifications (Strongly Preferred)
- PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or PMP with Agile focus.
