Established Transportation Company is currently hiring a Dispatch with experience in flatbed, step deck, and lowboy loads. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient communication between various stakeholders. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Ideal candidate must have:

· At least 5 years verifiable trucking dispatching experience

· At least 3 year of verifiable dispatching flatbed, step deck and lowboy loads

· Experience ensuring and acquiring any and all necessary permits

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

Duties include but are not limited to:

· Determining best routes, ensuring loads are dispatched and arrive on time

· Ensure any and all necessary permits for each assigned load are received prior to load leaving

· Maintain effective communication with assigned drivers and determine best course of action in resolving any issues that may arise during a load

· Maintain awareness and consider any road conditions, weather conditions or any issues that may interfere with timely delivery and adjust route as needed to ensure timely delivery

· Effectively communicate with customers current status of their loads, particularly any delays

· Escalate to management any issues dispatch manager is not able to resolve

· Other duties as assigned.

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in using phone systems for effective communication.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes within a supply chain environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
