Key Responsibilities
The position of Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer β Water/Wastewater Treatment involves leading the planning, design, and permitting of new and/or rehabilitated facilities, including groundwater treatment, surface water treatment, wastewater treatment, and recycled water production. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project teams, assisting with oversight and management of the firm's water/wastewater engineering services, preparing proposals for engineering services, and communicating effectively with clients and regulatory agencies. Additionally, the candidate will possess advanced knowledge of water/wastewater design processes and technologies, including permitting with California Regional Water Quality Control Board and Division of Drinking Water of the State Water Resources Control Board.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of water/wastewater design processes and technologies, including permitting with California Regional Water Quality Control Board and Division of Drinking Water of the State Water Resources Control Board. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in computer applications used in Water/Wastewater Engineering, such as WaterCAD or similar modeling software. A BS Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field is required, with an MS or higher degree preferred. The candidate should also demonstrate ability to gather, organize, and analyze engineering data, make comprehensive reports, and develop and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
