Support Services Project Manager
Baton Rouge, Louisiana Onsite
2 Years Contract
We are looking for candidates who can work on our W2.
Candidates with previous state / govt client experience is preferred.
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
- Preparing and sending submittals and deliverables, including the Project Management work Plan, Progress Reports, and comprehensive Roadmap.
- Planning and executing project communications with project team, key agency stakeholders and outside vendors;
- Coordinating meeting with key stakeholders;
- Conduct data gathering sessions;
- Optimize resources for cost savings;
- Maintaining all project records;
- Provide day-to-day project management support;
- Analyzing project risk and issues, help identify ways to mitigate risks;
- Conduct cost/benefit analysis;
- Present assessment findings to agency and recommend a phased approach that includes priorities and estimated cost that address desired outcomes.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role, such as a previous project management role, supervisory role, or other management role;
- Experience with electronic document management projects;
- Experience with operations, technology implementation and change management;
- Strong skills in collaborating with people who have different roles;
- Expert communication skills to create optimal collaboration;
- Proven record in sourcing resources, using effective strategies, clarifying goals for the team and guiding the project s idea into a tangible entity;
- Keeping the team in check and meeting deadlines to complete the project in its set timeframe;
- Ability of keeping records of progress, collecting data and filing reports of the project s status;
- Proven record of adhering to a budget.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus;
- Experience with State Government project management a plus;
