Certification Details BLS PALS Job Details Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Job Requirements Current Kansas RN license or compact license. BLS certification required prior to start. PALS certification required prior to start. Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start. Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment. Schedule Information Contract length : 13 weeks. Must be available for various shifts as needed. Unit Specific Information Emergency Room unit with a focus on critical care. Additional Details Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer required. Fit Test required for all travelers, preferred to be completed prior to start. Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination to vaccine required. Flu season is October 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025; exemptions accepted but masks required. Health Statement required prior to first assignment.
