Overview
We are seeking skilled Fabrication Fitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and fitting components for welding and assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Fit and assemble metal components according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to cut, grind, and shape materials
- Ensure precise measurements and proper alignment before welding
- Work with welders to complete fabrication projects
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Experience in metal fabrication and fitting
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency with measuring tools, grinders, and cutting equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerances
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable transportation to the job site
