Description: We are seeking a skilled Ironworker with at least construction. The ideal candidate must be local to the area, not requiring travel for work, and should not have a fear of heights. This role involves working on construction sites, assembling and installing structural steel and metal components with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install structural steel and iron components in the construction of prefabricated metal buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation of steel components.
- Secure metal beams, columns, and other structural components using bolts, welds, and other fasteners.
- Perform cutting, bending, and welding tasks as required.
- Work at heights with scaffolding and lifting platforms, without fear of working in elevated conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and contractors to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain adherence to safety standards and protocols on all job sites.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ironworker, preferably in prefabricated metal buildings.
- Local to [Insert Location], no travel required.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, and construction drawings.
- Skilled in welding, bolting, and securing steel components.
- Experience with cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, with knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- Own reliable transportation to job sites.
- Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
