Job Summary
A leader in apartment management, is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, diligent, part time Leasing Professional with tax credit experience.
The chosen candidate must possess the following skills: excellent communication skills, strong organizational, administrative skills, strong time management skills, a professional image, excellent customer service, ability to close a sale, knowledge of on-site maintenance requirements including dealing with vendors and contractors, and ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions. The job expectations below are not all inclusive of the position.
Job expectations include, but are not limited to:
- Sales experience required
- Optimize occupancy while maximizing effective leased rent
- Experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies
- Schedule and motivate staff
- Excellence in time management
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Minimum of one-year experience in residential property management preferred
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Assist in the application process, including screening applicants and verifying information.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure compliance with legal requirements, including Section 8 regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, applications, and lease agreements using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure units are ready for new tenants.
- Perform data entry tasks related to leasing activities and maintain organized files for all leasing documentation.
- Stay informed about local rental market trends to effectively market properties.
Experience: Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related field is preferred.

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing and tenant rights.
- Experience with property management software ( OneSite) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing files and data entry tasks.
- Sales experience is beneficial for effectively promoting properties to potential tenants.
