Pipefitter Journeyman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. The Pipefitter will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role requires proficiency in blueprint reading, welding techniques, and the use of both hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for HVAC and other applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of piping systems.
• Utilize various welding techniques, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), to join pipes and fittings.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
• Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify leaks or potential issues.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment on construction sites.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and pipeline installation techniques.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Experience with welding processes, particularly FCAW.
• Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools relevant to pipefitting tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
