Position Overview :
A well-established and respected hospital in Manhattan is seeking Anesthesiologists to join their growing and collaborative anesthesia team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for both new graduates and experienced candidates to practice in a diverse and fast-paced environment. The successful candidates will provide anesthesia care across a wide variety of surgical specialties and will be responsible for medically directing CRNAs and residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of cases, including vascular, thoracic, pediatrics, neuro, trauma, general surgery, and orthopedic surgeries. Must be proficient in OB anesthesia.
- 100% medical direction of CRNAs and anesthesia residents, overseeing their clinical practice and providing educational mentorship.
- Participate in pre-operative assessments, anesthesia planning, and intra-operative management of patients.
- Share in an equitable 1 : 7 off post-call rotation to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives, patient safety protocols, and departmental development.

Board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist.
