An urgent care in the Newport News, Virginia area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with pediatricians to provide high-quality care to infants, children, and teenagers presenting with common pediatric illnesses, minor injuries, and lacerations.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with pediatricians to assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
- Provide appropriate treatment and medications, including suturing and wound care.
- Educate patients and families on preventive care and health promotion.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
