What are the responsibilities and job description for the Observability SRE Architect position at KTek Resourcing?
Job Description:
- Establish solution and pattern to enable Azure/GCP-based applications/services/resources for observability (metrics, logs, and traces)
- Deploying/managing and optimizing enterprise-level observability platform for Grafana OSS products like Cirtex/Mimir, Loki, and Tempo
- Design and develop standard dashboards for critical metrics for various GCP services using the observability data
- Research and develop new solutions for other Pillars of observability (like RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, Network monitoring and profiling)
- Understand existing exporters for implementation/enhance or create custom exporters for pulling metrics from different GCP services
- Managing the technical aspect of the pod and delivering the observability enablement deliverables
- Stakeholder management and offshore team management
