Product Owner/PM-Cloud & Container

Location: Atlanta, GA or Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Contract: 6-12 months

Required Experience:

• Min 8-10 yrs. experienced Product Owner to help lead the Cloud Security Team.
• We need someone who has a Cloud Security experience mindset for distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs.
• Most important, we need a product manager who can help us build better products that people love to use.

Objectives of this role

• Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
• Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI
• Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management

Responsibilities

• Design software and business processes, including process modeling and user story grooming, in industrial verticals including the heavy platforms Cloud foundry and Kubernetes.
• Interpret business requirements and create capabilities in Jira Align, breaking them into features and functional/technical user stories in Jira.
• Refine the functional and technical user stories with the offshore and onshore Devops including the review of the test cases with SDETs and Manual testing team.
• Partner with multiple businesses enterprise-wide, MTS, and various stakeholders to define the current customer experience, identify areas of improvement, and use the inputs to create and drive product vision and Roadmap.
• Design and develop integration scripts and procedures using Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools and integrate with backend services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good understanding of cloud computing principles, including virtualization, containerization, micro services, and serverless computing; Risk Management, RHCOS security, container security, Kubernetes security, IAM security, network security, auditing, encryption, secrets management and data protection, securing CI/CD
• Experience with IAM Policy ‘as code’ ; OPA – Open Policy Agent (Styra Enterprise version of OPA); Cedar – Aws opensource policy agent
• Ability to be a technically strong individual with an IT Security background who has demonstrated skill in managing product teams; solid understanding of how IT Security enhances Digital Transformation and identifies new ways of helping bring new business solutions to market while remaining secure
• Experience with Public Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and GCP
• Experience with Container Technologies like EKS, AKS, OpenShift, Kubernetes on On-premises
• Familiar with automation tools and frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, Crossplane)
• Familiar with coding and scripting languages (eg, Python, GO, Bash)
• Designing and building the Customer Journey for application or Kubernetes platform team using Grafana Dashboards;
• Converting high level business requirements into features/user stories using Agile tools, Jira, and Jira Align;
• Collaborating with business teams/customer teams to identify the pain points in the customer journey, and work on providing resolutions by creating and driving the vision and roadmap using Roadmunk
• Verifying and validating data in the Facility Pricing tool to assess customer risk, collateral, profitability, and fees through SQL Queries using Oracle SQL Developer tool.
