The Site Observer will be responsible for monitoring the loading process at Nearest Truck stop 16502 IN-63, Covington, IN 47932. The primary duty is to accurately record the bundle and serial numbers of goods as they are loaded onto outbound trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Presence: Be present at the designated site during loading operations.
- Data Recording: Accurately record the bundle and serial numbers of each item loaded onto each truck.
- Report Generation: Prepare detailed reports of the recorded data, including truck number, date, time, and specific details of the loaded goods.
- Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Strictly adhere to all port safety regulations and wear required safety gear.
- TWIC Card Compliance: Maintain a valid TWIC card to access the port facility.
Required Qualifications:
- TWIC Card: Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk around the port, and potentially lift light items.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using basic computer software, such as spreadsheets and word processing.
