What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radio Advertising Account Executive position at KTTX / KWHI Radio?
Are you highly motivated and enjoy sales? KTTX/KWHI Radio is looking for an Account Executive to join their Sales Team! This position is responsible for selling advertising on both of our stations to businesses in the Brenham area and surrounding counties. Position will also come with a current billing client list, but is responsible for new business.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with clients
- Responsible for prospecting to bring in new business revenue
- Create customized proposals and campaigns by understanding your client's needs and expectations
- Responsible for coordinating all aspects of campaigns including but not limited to copy, production, promotions, billing and collections
- Setting face-to-face appointments
- Maintaining customer contact through efficient time management skills
- Attend sales meetings, station events as needed and training programs

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree and/or outside sales, account management or relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook and the ability to use computers and related technology efficiently
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required for this position
KTTX/KWHI Radio is a local, family-owned and operated station serving Brenham and the Brazos Valley area for many years from our studios in downtown Brenham, Texas.
- Position: Full-time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
- Benefits: Monthly salary plus commission, paid holidays, sick time and vacation, health insurance and profit-sharing
