2nd Shift Warehouse/ Logistics Team Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse processes, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.
• Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment efficiently.
• Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with e-commerce teams to streamline order processing and fulfillment operations.
• Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment used in the warehouse, including forklifts, to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a warehouse setting.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with e-commerce operations and logistics management.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Forklift certified
• Work experience in warehouse or shipping/receiving

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
