What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Of Nursing position at KU MedWest Ambulatory Surgery?
Responsible for nursing services and associated patient care outcomes provided under their supervision. Provides leadership which supports an environment of collaboration and coordination of services among care teams and based on their unique scope of practice (i.e. licenses, unlicensed, etc.) Responsible for design, administration, and evaluation of professional nursing services in accordance with relevant state nurse practices act(s), nursing scope of practice, and SCA policy and procedures. Establishes standardization and direction through implementation of policies and procedures and standards of care for the delivery of safe patient care in the facility.
