Job Description:
As a Zipline Tour Guide at Kualoa Ranch, you will provide exceptional guest service and frontline support while safely leading informational tours of Kualoa Ranch property via zipline. This role requires the use of specialized safety equipment and adherence to safety guidelines, while embodying the values and brand image of Kualoa Ranch. You will also act as an ambassador of Hawaii and Kualoa, promoting the company’s mission and enhancing the guest experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on integrity and responsibility.
Ability to effectively handle varying situations while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Capable of performing physical labor and working “at height” on zipline platforms, including climbing, standing for long periods, lifting and carrying equipment, and assisting guests with harnesses and other safety gear.
Completion of a paid training program, up to 80 hours, which includes a minimum of 16 hours of practicum experience guiding zipline tours.
Successful completion of both written and practical skills tests as part of the training program is required for employment. Note: Employment is not guaranteed and is on an at-will basis.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including while on elevated platforms and uneven terrain.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Physical capability to hike uphill and downhill slopes, often while carrying gear.
Ability to perform tasks that involve reaching, bending, climbing, and engaging with safety equipment.
Comfort and confidence working at heights and in outdoor weather conditions.
Schedule:
Full-Time position requiring open availability, including weekends and holidays.
