This role ensures that all cleaning equipment and tools are properly operated and maintained. The Kitchen Steward performs various cleaning tasks, such as washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment, as well as sweeping, mopping, and detailing. All duties must comply with Department of Health rules and regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

The Kitchen Steward performs various cleaning tasks, such as washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment, as well as sweeping, mopping, and detailing. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including pot-washing machinery.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, kitchen vessels, and other equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, emptying rubbish bins, and properly disposing of waste in designated areas.
- Ensure the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Follow all sanitation guidelines and Department of Health regulations.
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
- Clean and detail kitchen equipment and workspaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Prior experience operating cleaning and pot-washing equipment.
- Ability to adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and carrying supplies and equipment.
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full-Time
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is required.
