We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a team of skilled workers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and mechanics, with the ability to manage tasks effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members engaged in aircraft maintenance and repair. Responsible for coordinating the projects for each technician and keeping them on schedule for completion.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the assembly, maintenance, and repair of aircraft components, including sheet metal work and soldering.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on welding techniques, electrical systems, and heavy lifting procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and compliance checks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of welding, electrical systems, and heavy lifting techniques.
- A&P certification highly desired
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations is preferred.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
