Position Summary
Safely supports and trains team members on assembly processes with the utilization of strong communication skills, training aids, and on-the-job training techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Fills in and performs any and all assembly positions in the absence of regular assembly team members.
- Performs training of co-workers on assembly processes/equipment utilizing work standards. Learns new processes quickly in order to deliver and conduct training of others.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in regards to parts, tools, and job distribution to prevent down time on the Assembly Line.
- Utilizes root cause analysis tools (5-Why, fishbone diagram, PDCA)
- Understands the importance and necessity of the 5-Gen principle process.
- Maintains and trains co-workers on 5S compliant work standards.
- Supports ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Extensive knowledge of Kubota products and assembly process
- English language competency and legible writing ability
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience conducting on the job training
- Experience working with AS400 system preferred
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
