What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Kubota?
BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Assemble / build tractors and meet customer demand.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
Uncrate front loader frames and unbolt parts from pallets and install parts on to tractor front end.
Remove bolts from installed valve and add auxiliary valve to tractor and install control handle to tractor.
Install drive shafts to 4 wheel drive tractors.
Install control handles for front loader on tractors and remove mat install handle cut mat and pad and reinstall in tractors.
Inspect tractors for correct parts and assembly.
Install roll over protection system on tractors.
Install fenders on tractors.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Assemble show tractors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
Good knowledge of hand tools and air tools.
Knowledge of lifting part with overhead cranes.
Experience with driving fork lifts and squeeze lifts.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to speak and read English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Must be able to drive forklift and squeeze lift safely.
Must be able to stand, stoop and bend to perform the job.
Must be able to use hand and impact tools.
