The Field Service Specialist Team Lead is a full-time, permanent position for people interested in supporting a diverse team of field-based service reps who are working to support Ag products across the country. As our Global engineering and product teams continue to pursue new technologies and processes to ensure we continue to meet the demands of our dealers and customers, our Field Service Specialists ensure that these machines keep performing their job every day for our customers. The Field Service Specialist Team Lead is a critical role that ensures the Field Service Specialist Team has the resources, support, and voice that they need to provide industry leading customer support and excellent dealer technician training on the related products. Utilizing technical experience combined with project and personnel management, the Field Service Specialist Team Lead will guide the specialists in helping KUBOTA dealers nationwide elevate the support of our mutual end customer.
What will you do?
Maintain all responsibilities of a Field Service Specialist, overseeing a condensed territory of dealerships and providing them with the service support they need for Kubota ag products
Oversee and lead day-to-day activities of a team of Field Service Specialists.
Active participation in scheduling and confirming work activities.
Responsible for the continuous evaluation, education and effective professional development of the Field Service Specialists to properly support and accurately train KUBOTA dealership personnel.
Troubleshoot / diagnose / repair technical issues over the phone/web or in the field and support the Field Service Specialists in doing the same.
Lead coordination efforts in KUBOTA University technical training for AG products.
Create detailed technical reports for product performance and technical issues and review those submitted by the rest of the Field Service Specialist team
Aid in evaluation efforts of “New to Market” KUBOTA ag products or components.
Assist Division personnel in the development of KUBOTA dealer’s service abilities.
Analyze and assist in creation of technical publications.
Analyze technical and functional issues with underlying goal of root cause determination.
Deliver a Dealer Support Experience based on the pillar of KUBOTA Service
Connection – Ensure dealer have a connected KUBOTA Service Experience
Development – Grow the ability of the segment team to support dealers with technical issues.
Training – Directly guide relevant information to KUBOTA University to improve technical training offer.
Collaborate with the TSC Assistant Manager - Ag Products to identify trends in the market and escalate issues for manufacturer investigation, providing insight to the end user operation
Ensure performance of Field Service Specialist group
Do you have what it takes?
Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience within Agricultural Equipment industry.
Relies on independent decision-making and problem solving to complete job tasks.
Experience leading a technical focused team or related experience.
Passion for production Agriculture Industry with focus on Hay, Tractor and Forage Industry.
Proven record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Expert level experience with Diagnostic Tools and Processes
Excellent technical communication skills in both written and oral form.
Strategically-minded and well organized.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
