BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Quality Assurance Engineer supports the detection, analysis, reporting, implementation of counteraction and monitoring activities relating to the elimination of product defects and issues on Kubota machines. The QA Engineer will be responsible for coordinating the quality reporting activities and draws data and information from the market data and to collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement the solutions.
This position is a hybrid role of Quality Assurance and Quality Control. The Quality Assurance role will be focused on the construction machines, and Quality Control role will focus on the distribution center assembly line to setup inspections and audits, as well as implement initiatives to prevent quality issues from leaving the distribution centers. The QA Engineer coordinates all reworks, recalls, inspections and parts validations at the site to which they are assigned. This role will require some travel to customer and dealer locations and determine failure repair processes and root cause and report back to the QA department.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures, and guidelines:
Monitor warranty and field failure reports to detect product issues and analyze trends using data analytics.
Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve identified product defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Lead Quality Control (QC) activities at the distribution center assembly line, ensuring quality standards are met.
Develop and implement inspection and audit procedures to proactively prevent quality issues from reaching customers.
Follow the safety protocols for the Distribution Center
Travel to dealer locations as needed (4-6 Visits/ Year) to assess field failures, verify corrective actions, and provide feedback to internal teams.
Oversee reworks, recalls, inspections, and parts validations at the assigned distribution center.
Record the non-conformance into the system

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in technical field, Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing engineering preferred:
Minimum 3 years experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; hands-on technical aptitude and experience.
Prior exposure and knowledge of the problem identification and problem-solving process.
Proficient in the operation of all Kubota and competitive equipment.
Relies on independent decision-making and problem solving to complete job tasks.
Broad level experience within technical service industry.
Proven record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to use common machine tools, measurement gauges (Digital Multi-meter, flow meters), and diagnostic software.
Ability to comprehend electrical and hydraulic diagrams and CAD drawings.

This person must be physically capable of climbing onto, get off, and operating tractors and equipment safely.
