BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Senior Manager, Brand & Communication Operations, reports directly to the Senior Brand Strategist, and is responsible for overseeing and optimizing brand and communication operations.
As a key member of the department’s leadership team, this role collaborates closely with cross-function teams to ensure alignment of brand & communication initiatives with business objectives. The Senior Manager also manages the department’s project workflows to ensure objectives are met.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
Create, implement and monitor project workflows that ensure project requests follow defined best practices, adhere to the creative process and respect brand standards.
Guide internal and external brand and communication partners to deliver impactful campaigns that drive greater awareness, engagement, and user growth.
Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of business processes, applications, and customer needs.
Gather updates and creates dashboard materials to provide status to all stakeholders.
Facilitate departmental/team meetings to assist in prioritization of requests.
Partner with department leaders to troubleshoot process inefficiencies, enhancements, and solve project specific issues, and to ensure programs and events align with business/operational strategy and internal engagement initiatives.
Regularly inform stakeholders across all areas of the business of insights on brand and communication performance to ensure cross functional alignment on the best possible data-driven strategy.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or similar discipline.
10 years of marketing/creative/project management, event planning/management and vendor relationships experience.
3-5 years of prior management experience.
Experience with innovative strategies to drive progress in the company.
Diplomacy in communications and interpersonal communications skills.
Strong relationship-building skills, including collaboration and conflict resolution with team, peers, and partners.
Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
Ability to set strategic direction for team, manage resources, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, action oriented and collaborative environment.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
