Sr. MDG Analyst (Master Data Governance S/4HANA)

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION  Kubota is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. SAP MDG Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the SAP MDG functionality within S/4HANA and work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, drive process standardization, and ensure the efficient utilization of out-of-the-box SAP software capabilities.   Your responsibilities will encompass system configuration, integration, testing, and operational monitoring to continuously enhance process efficiency and quality.   PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:  Collaborate with the Functional Consultant during business process analysis by participating in interviews, workflow analyses, and facilitating discussions with business users. Translate user business requirements into comprehensive functional designs for development, testing, and implementation. Identify and communicate risks and issues related to business rules, functional requirements, and specifications. Actively contribute to managing the scope of applications and related changes. Participate in the UAT phase and go-live period of the MDG Implementation project, addressing live system issues by engaging internal and external stakeholders, leading root cause analysis, and assessing upstream and downstream change impacts. Support quality assurance efforts through functional test case reviews and contribute to user training by creating training materials. Drive continuous process improvements by monitoring and analyzing KPIs, proposing process and system changes, providing scope and cost estimates, and optimizing timelines to enhance quality and business outcomes. Additional duties as assigned, based on project needs and organizational requirements.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Information Sciences/Technology, Supply Chain or related fields required At least 5 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment of SAP MDG Proficient in ABAP development and debugging. At least 1 implementation / roll out experience in S4 HANA MDG implementation   SKILLS and BACKGROUND: MDG expert in data modeling, UI, BRFs, and workflow enhancements for master data elements like business partners, material master, and financial master. Well-versed in MDG and MDM principles and best practices. Experience implementing MDG standards and MDM solutions across various business functions. Proficient in SAP MDG configurations, including data modeling, UI modeling, process modeling, and replication configurations. Knowledge of MDG workflows, SAP tables, and various SAP technologies (BRF , Workflow, FPM, Enhancements, IDOCs, and Proxies). Experience with data modeling techniques is a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills with team leadership experience.
