Position Summary
Kudelski Security is seeking a driven, high-impact Regional Sales Manager to launch and own the New York territory. As our first NY hire, you'll have full autonomy to build and expand the region, backed by a powerhouse team of leadership, solution architects, BDRs, and SMEs.
In this role, you’ll engage Cybersecurity, Risk, and IT leaders, delivering white-glove, holistic solutions that address modern security challenges. With unique multi-practice professional services, plus a best-in-class technology partner portfolio, you'll have everything needed to elevate your clients' security strategies—and drive success.
Responsibilities
- Strategically develop and manage a defined territory, identifying upper mid-market (MM) and enterprise (ENT) clients that can benefit from Kudelski's cybersecurity products and services.
- Leverage the latest sales tools to identify decision makers and drive 100% net-new business growth: cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, existing relationships, and channel partnerships to expand Kudelski’s presence and impact in the region.
- Build and nurture relationships with C-suite IT and cybersecurity leaders in enterprise organizations, gaining deep insight into their challenges.
- Strategically position and deliver cybersecurity solutions, professional services, and MDR offerings that not only address their business needs but also empower their leadership to shine.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Security Practice leaders, Managed Security Services leaders, Solution Architects, and others) to align offerings with client needs and ensure customer success.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, providing accurate forecasts and updates to leadership.
Your key qualities and skills
- 7 years’ direct sales experience in the cybersecurity industry
- At least 1 year selling professional cybersecurity services (e.g., penetration testing, vulnerability management, compliance services, security assessments, IR) and MDR services (e.g., SOC as a Service, threat detection and response) for enterprise level clients in various industries (excluding government contracts) at an MSSP or cyber consulting firm.
- Established ability to research, initiate, and cultivate business relationships with key executives, contacts, and sponsors within assigned accounts/territory.
- Consistent achievement of sales quotas with strong tenure at previous organizations.
- Proven ability to build and execute regional and account prospecting and expansion plans.
- Self-starter with the proven ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with the various Security Practice leaders, Managed Security Service leaders, Solutions Architects, Sales Operations specialists and other Security Advisors.
