Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Business Development / Inside Sales Representative a lot of cold calling is to generate new business opportunities and drive sales growth for the company's technical industrial products (encoders, slip rings, counters) on the West Coast. This role involves initiating contact with prospective B2B customers through cold calling, building, and nurturing relationships and effectively communicating the value and benefits of our products. The Business Development / Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in expanding the company's customer base, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the overall success and profitability of the organization. Additionally, the role supports sales through accurate order entry and exceptional customer service. Will work directly with Regional Sales Managers and pass them off to them.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cold Calling: Initiate and make outbound calls to potential B2B customers to introduce and promote our products (encoders, slip rings, counters).
Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our technical products to communicate their features and benefits effectively to customers.
- Sales Process: Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the deal, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for the customer.
Order Entry: Assist with order entry and processing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of products.
Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Sales Goals: Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Required in office: Office hours are flexible start time 7:30 to 8:30 am , with a start time of, A minimum 30-minute lunch break (with a maximum of 1 hour) is mandatory. Employees are expected to work a 40-hour work week.

Pay: $16.80 - $25.00 per hour
