YOUR ROLE
As a Commercial Shipper you will be responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading / unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. Responsibilities also include receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping / manifesting, screening and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse. You will work Monday - Friday, 3 : 00 pm - 11 : 30 pm and will be paid weekly at $19.48 per hour with a full benefits package.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify and receive materials into inventory
- Verify required inbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted
- Ensure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage
- Dangerous Goods" : when receiving dangerous goods, the necessary procedures must be followed and these shipments must be stored in the designated section of the warehouse
- Use Material Handling Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution
- Other duties asassigned
