Your Role
The Site Manager directs the daily activities of the distribution operations, including labor scheduling, management and the proper use of space, equipment, and workforce. Staffing, warehouse operations, maintenance of the Kuehne Nagel Areas and equipment, implementation of quality, safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs, budgeting, P&L, and customer service. You will report to the Contract Logistics Manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and direct programs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and use of the facility.
- Plan and schedule all logistics services including receiving, inspection, storing, delivery, handling returned / damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory and quality standards.
- Plan long range labor needs based on sales forecasts and input from management.
- Make recommendations to Contract Logistics Manager on programs to improve operations.
- Attend and when applicable host warehouse meetings.
- Work with Business Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to establish goals.
- Develop a space use plan to meet prescribed cost and services standards.
- Monitor the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.
- Direct the operations of the management and supervisory personnel to achieve prescribed goals.
- Develop procedures to ensure the efficient operation and use of all operating equipment.
- Develop, implement, and direct programs to ensure the safety and security of all personnel, equipment, and property.
- Ensure current and accurate inventory control.
- Assure that orders are picked and processed timely and within prescribed quality and performance levels.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of reports regarding warehouse operations.
- Budget development with Business Manager / corporate guidance and support; P&L responsibility.
- Maintain compliance to ISO 9001 and AS 9100 / 9120 Quality Management Systems as applicable.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external QMS, Compliance, Customer and Operational audits.
- Ensure required training is provided to all employees to support the QMS according to the Training Matrix.
- Update Work Instructions and Job Aids to support the QMS.
- Ensure that discrepancies are documented using the appropriate reporting systems (TIPs, eCATS, QN's)
- Work and supply reporting with customer business leaders.
- Defining process components using a SIPOC diagram.
- Establishing monitoring mechanisms and control plans to maintain improvements.
- Identifying and eliminating the seven types of waste.
- The use of 5S methodologies, DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) framework for problem solving, and value stream mapping."

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
