Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tender management strategies that align with our organizational goals and market trends.
- Develop and implement effective business review methodology.
- Define rules of engagement for all processes within Global Tender Management.
- Provide direction, mentorship, and inspiration to the Tender Management (TM) Hemisphere teams, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Lead efforts to align internal stakeholders across departments and regions, ensuring strong, unified support for tender initiatives.
- Effective sales presence to promote the success of the Sales Excellence Team internally and externally.
- Set clear performance expectations using subjective and objective KPIs, conduct evaluations, and offer constructive feedback to drive continuous team excellence.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and champion the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
- Optimize resource distribution, managing personnel and budgets to maximize operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks in customer engagement and tender process, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
- Develop customer-centric approaches that prioritize satisfaction and retention throughout the tender process.
- Foster a culture of creativity within the TM teams, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
- Set ambitious goals, lead by example, and ensure the team is accountable for achieving outstanding outcomes.
- 2-5 years of experience in Project Management, demonstrating strong organizational and execution capabilities.
- Proven international experience, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural environments.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience, both direct and virtual, managing teams across multiple regions.
- 5-10 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations, ideally from a Logistics Service Provider or within Manufacturing/Retail sectors.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pricing, Tender Management, or Excellence Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / 365, with advanced skills in PowerPoint presentations and medium-to-advanced Excel.
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support global operations.
