Your Role
Lead the tactical sourcing initiatives For the US Market related to multiple spend categories, ensuring alignment with all key stakeholders, organizational development, tools, Global Procurement governance & policies in alignment with organizational goals.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive procurement excellence and ensure alignment with key stakeholders
- Experience with procurement tools such as VMS (vendor management system) and P2P (procure-to-pay)
- Successful Project Implementation for new business or new (global) Procurement Initiatives
- Establish and maintain Governance & Policies within local Categories
- Fostering strong relations with national leadership team, Business Development, stakeholders & suppliers
- Lead negotiations, manage risks to support business continuity & growth
- Deliver quantified agreed financial savings targets.
- Develops and maintains an accurate accounting of the procurement spend reporting.
- Identifies new procurement related opportunities to grow the gross profit of the business and to be distinctive in the market area.
- Maintain and develop key supplier relationship
- Drive cost efficiency initiatives and RFQs (request for quotation)
- A Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Racking, Material Handling Equipment, Facilities management, Contingent Labor, and indirect procurement spend category
- 3 years of experience with Project Management
- 3 years of Logistics and 3PL experience
- Preferred qualifications include strong organizational, communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills to effectively foster respect and teamwork with both internal and external partners
