Your Role
As a Quality Specialist, you will report to the Site Manager. You will help determine the methods, operations, sequences, and setups to perform inspections. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 am – 4 : 00 pm. This role pays $21.00 per hour.
Your Responsibilities
- Read and understand documents and processes and apply to manufacturing and inspection
- Read blueprints and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Conduct department audits, ensure current documentation is in use and certification (calibration) of all tooling and test equipment is current
- Use a variety of instruments such as bore gauge, air gauge, profilometer, micrometer, caliper, and comparator
- Create inspection reports and corrective action requests
- Demonstrate active commitment to QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) standards
- Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
- Work overtime and weekends
