What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Picker - 1st and 2nd Shift position at Kuehne+Nagel?

Your Role
As a Picker, you will report to a Supervisor and work from a pick list to determine which items need to be sent out, ensure items are free of damage, stack items safely and securely in the right packaging, and use carts or manual pallet jacks to move materials throughout the distribution facility. You will work Monday - Friday, 5 : 00 am - 1 : 30 pm or Monday - Friday, 3 : 00 pm - 11 : 30 pm and will be paid weekly at $19.20 per hour with a full benefits package.
Your Responsibilities
Inspect, weigh, and label packages; ensure they are free of damage
Assemble daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories
Fill out packing and order forms; seal and label shipping containers
Use material handling equipment
Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
Work overtime and weekends as needed
Other responsibilities as assigned
Your Skills and Experiences
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of recent experience in a warehousing or distribution environment
1 year forklift experience
Can lift up to 50 pounds
Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate controlled environment
Must be a US Citizen
