Your Role
Under the direction of the General Manager, and / or the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for the proper function of logistics activities under their direction in a manner consistent with company service, quality and cost objectives. The Warehouse Lead can be responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading / unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. The Warehouse Lead can be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping / manifesting, screening and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments
- Verify required inbound / outbound paperwork with associates and drivers to ensure that all product is properly counted
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and errors
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment
- Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly
- Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion
