Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various concrete construction tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the project. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.
Duties
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete for various construction projects.
- Assist in setting forms and frameworks for concrete structures.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required on job sites.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct trim carpentry, tile laying, caulking, and plastering tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Experience
- Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating a concrete mixer and other relevant machinery is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, tile laying, caulking, and plastering will be considered a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
